cheap exhaust?

hi
basically my exhaust as completly given up on me, so it needs replaced asap. what the question is, basically ive not got much money to spend on it so the options are
1. just hang on til pay day (2/3 weeks away) and replace it with a proper stainless steel system
2. buy a mild steel k tec stealth and be pretty scint til pay day.
3. just take that "standard" one the local garage have offered me, the make is something like "t sport".
what do you guys think the best route to take.

How long is the guarantee on the K-tec mild steel jobbie?

If you can, try and hang on until payday and get a BTB stealth - far better than the K-Tec for the same price (and in stock). Alternatively, maybe the mild steel KTEC is an option to save some cash. Where has it broken?

its blowing badly at all the joints and the exhaust mount has rusted off leave a big hole in the back box (sorry not a very good description)
is is "bad" for the car (apart from the noise) to leave it?

It won't harm the car at all. Might not run 100% though.

if you want to be replacing it again in the next 12-18 months i wouldnt bother with mild steel.
think i would wait until payday and get a stainless stealth......
