Cheap laptops!!

Does anyone know of any cheap laptops?
It will literally be used for emails and internet browsing, a SD card slot would be ideal but not necessary.
Been looking at Toshiba and Acer but no brand is jumping out as they all seem to be the same to me!

Ive got a Macbook Pro and its awesome, but this is for my girlfriends old man and she wants to get him one.
We were thinking a netbook, but she thinks its too small, so a laptop, even if it was a 13inch like my Mac it would be ideal...
