Check out mytyres.net. I just manged to find 195/50/15 Toyo Proxes for £29.40 each including postage and packing!

I can personally recommend my tyres. Ive just taken delivery of another pair of Goodyear F1s for £43 each, although think the price has now just gone up to £45.

i just paid £63 for a new tyre on my car.. bit peed didnt see this before!!

R is the speed rating, make sure you get an R or above for replacement tyres.

Speed ratings go ..

N -87mph

P -93mph

Q -99mph

R -106mph

S -112mph

T -118mph

H - 130mph

V -149mph

What tyre is recommended for the 172 ?

I see the toyo proxies what are they like for dry/wet wear and handling ? or are the goodyear f1s better ?

I think Simon172 has Eagle F1s. They are meant to be better but they are also a fair bit more expensive.
