Cheapest buckets for a fat man?

  Ph2 Clio 172
What would be the cheapest way to get a couple of buckets into my 172 that would lower the seating position as much as possible, but also accommodate a 6'4" 'large' guy :)

I'm in no hurry to put a cage an harnesses in, so any sort of halfway house half bucket type things would be good to

Have you lowered the standard seats? There is a guide on the forum. Im 6 foot 5 and lowering the seat has made quite a bit of difference for me. It just involves removing some little dampers below the frames.

Wish I would have known you could do this when I had mine!

Yeah, the driver seat has had the washers removed.

I'm trying to convince the GF that stripping my interior would be a good idea, and if I do I would like some lower and lighter bucket seats. But only if they don't cost a fortune.

I'm 5' 11" - but weight 17 stone - big shoulders etc.. I fit in perfectly

They even do a wider version if you need it
They're only £450 brand new for a pair
