As with any car, as long as it's looked after, serviced and not ragged it should be fine.

You could pick up a 182 with less miles and could be crap compared to a PH1 172

RS clio's are depreciating quicker than 2nd hand condoms atm. I'm hoping in 11 months time 4k should see me in a nice <60,000 FSH PH2 172. Infact it can now but an even better example in a years time.

Easilly. I paid 5k for my Ph2 172 with 46k on it and full service history back in April, and it was pretty much perfect (well, until i got my hands on it anyway :dead, just minor wear and tear on the steering wheel and drivers seat that had been properly repaired (with receipts and evrything). Also came with 10 months MOT on it.
