Cheapest place for scorpion/milltek/piper exhaust

I'm shopping for a new exhaust.

Not overly fussed between the three brands above.

Best price I can find so far:

I don't think you'll get a piper or a milltek around the price of that scorpion. Second hand maybe.

Demon tweeks do the piper for £445 but we do get cs discount. I have no idea how much discount you'll get tho.

I've got a piper on mine and I'd recommend it. It's brilliant.

It's not a newer version as such, it's a completely different system.

Didn't see that. Anyway you want the newer version with the flexi in the centre section as the old system cracks

It did mate. But this one caught my eye whilst I was looking. Full milltek exhaust for £250 :

I was chatting to the guy via e-mail and he seemed genuine enough. If you don't need the cat you can always sell it on for about £60/£70. Will work out at a cheap exhaust in the end.

Seems rather loud and doesnt sit as far out from the back bumper as id like. Unless this is due to the ktec decat (length issue)?

It's loud because of the decat. Ive got a piper cat back on mine and the sound and noise levels are spot on. Quiet around town and on the motorway but makes a nice sound when giving in the beans.

I think having a decat pipe makes most if not all of the Clio systems pretty loud so if you buy a milltek you might have the same problem.

I've got my exhaust tips sitting flush with the edge of the exhaust trims which IMO looks really nice but I guess it's personal preference. You can adjust the length of the exhaust by decreasing the overlap on the joins and then sliding the exhaust mounts towards the back of the car which will increase the length of the exhaust.

The piper is a good exhaust so maybe you could look into making these changes to save buying a milltek which might give you the same problems as you've got now.
