Cheapest place online to buy 185/55/R15 tyres?

Tyre Traders are the cheapest for the Uniroyal Rainsport 2s by a few quid a corner.

Will they fit? Anything to bare in mind when using them? How will it effect the recommended tyre pressures? Will the speedo under or over estimate the speed of the car? Any issues with tight cornering, potholes, speed bumps, parking on an incline or parking on a cambered road?

Your speedo will over read by 1.4% with the different profile. So when your speedo says 70, you'll actually be doing 69. They won't cause any issues....

So why do 185/55 even exist if 195/50 will do?

Because the 195/50 give a sportier, lower profile which probably isn't the right image from the manufacturer?

It's just a tyre mate....don't know why you'd think it would affect all of the above? It probably does but not that you'd notice...

For manufacturers to fit them as an oe fit. Helps with things like tax bracket for the car.
