Cheapest way of getting wifi, without a phoneline

Been living in my new flat for a few months now and i would like to install wifi into the property without having a bt landline installed as I dont want to pay line rental for a phone i will never use.

Without sounding thick (too late) Is this possible or will i have to buy some 3g dongles for my ipad and laptop.

Any help on this matter would be great as my 1gb data limit on my 4s has almost run out

can you get Virgin cable in your area? If so, do that. No need for a phone line.

If you get a USB dongle, you can use a Draytek 2710 router to distribute the Internet.

They have a USB port on them to do this so you can then have wired broadband or wireless from the router.

If your using 3g then a Mifi will be better than a dongle.

yeah i have a mifi unit and it does work pretty well. I just want to get the unlimited tmobile internet mentioned above now (if its true)!
