checking timing

us there a quick way to check timing is correct without removing cam pulley cover, engine mount, cam plugs, getting it to tdc and getting cams in line?

dont need to touch the belt end. You will need to remove the cam blanking plugs though.

There's no "cheat" way to do it

you would need to take the cover off the belt though to check tensioner is set correctly?
