Chicago Auto Show 07 - inc. Audi R8 and all the new concepts pics

Went to the Chicago Auto Show last week, great show as always, got a 'few' pics here to show, sorry there are so many, just didn't have the heart to delete many as most of them turned out pretty good.

The slideshow is quite a good feature, shows them full size then (albeit they are all resized anyway)

Car show pt 1 (inc. Audi R8, Toyota FT-HS concept, biggest truck in the world to buy, Ford Intercepter concept, Airstream Concept, New Shelby Mustang and the new Lexus IS F.

couldn't have picked a better vehicle, never had snow as bad as that, infact the blizzard they had was the worst in living memory!

I couldn't have gone to the car show, bball or hockey had i not had it , would never have got there.

It was invaluable and i'm not normally a big car person but i fell in love with it by the end of the week!

i lived in chicago for a year, have been back about 6 times since and thought to myslef, i can't believe i haven't seen them play so i looked on ticket master and found a single ticket on the front row in the corner, was expensive at £80 but well worth it, great view, could hear what they were saying etc.

Also got royal treatment with the hummer, got to park right in front of the arena, was like being treated like a a celebrity LOL, felt special.

yeah, over here it would be impossible, everything over there is built for things that size, well nearly.

I had to watch going through toll booths etc, its pretty much as wide as a Semi (articulated lorry )

there were as people around me were pointing them out but not people i had heard of, american tv celebs and people like the chicago bears head coach etc.

They know how to put on a show though, with all the time outs you would think it would be all stop start but they put on mini shows for every one of them so the action never stops, it really is a great experience!
