just phoned my local tuning place who said that they can get my clio chipped for me £ 293 inc vat and fitting, and it will give a 6bhp gain?!!?

its a 1.4 16v si which has been de catted and ramcharger induction kit fitted.

will it really only give 6bhp? i believe they get them from http://www.superchips.co.ukwww.superchips.co.uk.

to be honest unless u got other mods, ull be lucky to see 6hp mate!

6hp is very unlikly unless you have a full intake and exhuast.

Thjere not much potential gains from remapping. The 172 gets at best 12hp from a remap froma custom made on on a unichip etc so in a 1.4 your looking at about 4hp.There not much potential from N/A moter from remaps. You will get some mid range improvements though.
