Can't comment on the Hankooks as I've never used them . I'm currently running Rainsport 3's , been on the front for about 300 miles now and I rate them highly , in the wet they feel so planted when pushing on .

I have Hankook K110 Ventus V12 Evo on the front just now and i rate them a lot.
I have my OE michelin pilot exalto's on the back but I'm looking to change them

I have PE2's on the rear too , still plenty of tread left though . But when it comes time to replace I'll be going for the Rainsport 3's . The only thing i can say about them is , alot of people seem to think they have soft sidewalls .I'm not so sure about that , I think it's more to do with the deep tread blocks being quite soft . Same for the Rainsport 2's , the first time i had those fitted after coming from PE2's they took a bit of getting used to . After a couple of weeks i got used to the different feel . They really are good though when it's wet / pouring down , lots and lots of grip .

Few specialists / racers have told me & articles I've read suggest that, if possible, it is beneficial to have the same model of tyre on all four corners.

As you rate the Hankooks, I reckon it makes sense to get those for the rear of your car too.
