Car hadn't been cleaned in a few weeks and I was putting it off until my spare wheels and winter tyres were ready. So whilst I had to cover at work for the weekend might as well make use of the facilities and helps pass the time.
Pics not the best so wheel colour doesn't quite look right nor does it help with the yellow glow gas filled lamps in the workshop.
Yes I know the colour is not to 99% of peoples liking on here but they'll do for the winter. Originally got them from a member on here however the gold was a bit bright so stuck them in the Wheel Specialists to refurb and spray.
Naked shoes!
The unwashed one
A little snow
After a rinse
Lifted up Taped and Calipers Painted Black
Front tyres removed - just in time
New Winter Tread
New shoes fitted (still on stilts)
A quick shot allowing day light in before it gets dark (swapping back to standard rear lights for the winter as the FK ones tend to bugger up the cruise control when the lights are switched on)
A quick polished shot
With extra bling fitted none flash/flash centre caps don't quite match but it's the closest Halfords seem to have until I can get a paint code.
Stuff used
six o'clock and no daylight left
