Cig lighter not working

Cig lighter is working but when i plug accessories in they dont work. I have looked at the fuse and that seems fine as the radio is also working so what is the problem?

there might be some crud in the bottom of the socket. had the same with mine, lighter worked but chargers etc didnt. gave it a clean out with a cotton bud and sorted. Dont use anything metal though, unless you drop the fuse out first.

just a thought, might be easier to do that first than checking voltages etc!!

Mine was the same mate, pulled it out, the little light bulb holder bit has moved, so when I turned it to the right place again it worked fine and has ever since!!

its fine now took it all out and gave it a good clean and its working now cheers
