Cigarette lighter socket rusted/replace

Hi all
Wonder if someone could help me plz?
Inside of socket is rusted any way of cleaning it and brought a new 1 but it has a different connector. Can i still use it n how?

i'd just get an original one to replace it with from eBay , classifieds on here or a breakers, not a third part thing like that replacement

Thanks i think ive got it working now. Cleaned the inside best i could. Hands free doesnt work so gonna try a charger.

I cleaned mine up with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol. It worked, but I got another one from the scrappy for £2 cus it looked better.
