cisco vpn client and X64



do they do a version that works with xp X64 as it seems they dont and i have a x64 laptop that needs the client on it yes i can use the xp ipsec vpn client but id rather not

sooo can anyone help ?

oh its a asa5510 that its connecting too

Have you tried it anyway, m8?

I've read that 'Cisco Any Connect' works fine on Vista 64, so I assume it would be ok on XP64? What difference that has between it and the standard VPN client, I'm not sure.

cisco vpn client doens't have 64bit vista support according to them altohugh if you find it, let me know cause i neeeed it too!

Seems like there are a LOT of irate people out there with the same issue.

Fecking stupid that Cisco hasn't properly addressed 64-bit support yet. :S

cisco just annoy me, you would have though being the industry standard with all the money they're making their switch gui's would work and they at least support the most modern operating systems. GHEY

Yep, gotta agree although the desktop systems I maintain are 32bit it is very annoying that they dont seem to have a 64bit capable vpn client.

Especially with the money they must rake in !

Bunny they don't do x64, I spoke to them last year about it and they said at the time they had no plans to.

I ended up wacking a VM on my machine and ran the x86 version.

Fktards.
