CL front pads

They don't have the little spring things on like the Ferodo ones, so they have a bit of movement inside the carrier? Is this right? Or have I missed something? Halfway through changing my pads in the brief bit of sunshine we have had this year.

Yup that's correct, if you take the shims out too which is recommended if you track you'll get a bit of noise from them on bumpy surfaces but well worth it for the performance in my opinion

Thats as they are, hence they rattle when they are cold. Great pads though!!

Yup correct, only heard mine rattling about last night for the first time, excellent pads though.

What pads are they?

I have RC6s and the squeal unbelievably, but I don't use the car regularly so I don't mind haha! Excellent on track.

Cheers guys. They are RC5+s to replace the DS2500s I cooked. Just thought it was a bit odd that they rattled a bit, but if that's by design then good to go!

Is it bad that I was surprised when I didn't need to to take an angle grinder to the RC5+? Bloody DS2500!
