Claiming new windows on insurance

My windscreen has a MASSIVE scratch on it where the wiper broke and i didn't notice for ages so there is massive ark on my windscreen, would they fix this if i only paid the excess? and how would it effect my no claims?

normally just pay your excess... £50/£60 maybe. shouldnt affect NCB.

Give it a bump with something else and they will then I am sure.

Might give them a ring, just is it possible to repair it as can't be doing with replacing them.
