claims of +14bhp from an induction kit??

one of my mates recently had an induction kit (k+n 57i) and he claims he rolling roaded it with +14 bhp. i thought it was a load of s**t. just wondered whether anyone else has experinced similar gains??
 
is this the induction kit that your friend bought?

Simply pump your tyres up to 50 psi and find yourself some bhp on a rolling road. There are too many variables, such as tyre/air temp/pressure that impact the way the figures are calculated. Before and after is the only use of a rolling road to give you an indication of improvement.

BMW M3 Evos see gains of upto 20hp with induction kits.

Can't really comment on any others.
 
load of rubbish induction kit power gains are all in ya head. its all noise unless u do other mods to go with it like a full exhaust and manifold for example.
 
peaple believe everything they cant prove!!!

tbh, its abit of a sad world,
many places lie just to help sales and make money!

induction kits give you more bhp!!
power caps are essential!!

if only places were less money motivated, they bank no the fact that your never going to put theyre claims to the test!!

its all bull, they give you less bhp most probably,
