Class D Amps

As above do all class d amps sound sh*t??

its just i had one before and it sounded poo. but now im thinking of getting another sub i think it will be a lot easier to power them from one class d

but i dont want to buy one and that one sound poo, or was it just a crap amp that i bought???

class d amps technically do have lower SQ but you wouldnt notice it on a sub. What amp did you have?

there must have been something wrong with YOUR amp, DLS CA10s do not sound poo

I still have my Old Caliber Competition Digital Amp. Its a beast! It will run anything. We had 2 X JLW7s running off it.

Not many of those floating about now either

the kenny 1600w amp is one of the best digi mono block class d 1 ohm stable amps around for the money!

Theyre not digital, its to do with the way they amplify the sound. Theyre far more efficient than class A,B,C amps but are lower quality hence are of little use for anything other than subs.
