I use a wired and sometimes wireless remote depending on how far away from the camera i need to be or if i need to be in shot.
It reduces the chance of camera shake down to zero, but then I suppose it depends on how keen you are on taking superb pics.
Seeing that you had a tripod I assumed you were quite keen.
Dont get me wrong they are awesome pics and you have a lovely looking motor.
Was just a suggestion to totally eliminate camera shake and also tyou dont need to wear silly gloves to take them. lol
