Clean Head!!!

Car  Williams 2, 182 cup
I'm currently doing an engine rebuild on my hybrid and am at the moment working on the head. I wish to do all the work myself and wanted to know the best way of cleaning the valve ports. Are there any chemicals, tools or processes I should use? Help please!

sonic bath or alloy wheel cleaner after a general degreasing, for getting it looking spanking

just drop it off at a local engine reconditioners and ask them to clean it. Usually they get it pretty much near spotless, but some places area useless at cleaning, so have a look at some of their stuff lying around.

You'll never get it truely spotless unless you take some form of scrubbing to it, or a wire brush on a die grinder etc, just make sure its a small one that is soft.
