Clean S2 Escort RS Turbo

They all look nice but they all rot.

Rear arches, rear chassis rails, sills and the lower valance close off panels.

My brother - in - law gas a G reg black one that he bought 6 year's ago thought it was mint as it was kept in a garage.

Wrong!

So glad that mine has been fully undersealed when the bodykit was off along with my battery tray and slam panel.

The wheels are worth silly money also as there is 4 on ebay going for £1200

My seats are different colour and i also have the spot lights. I hope these keep going up in price as then its even better for people like me who keep it locked away all wrapped up.

Corrosion is not 'that bad' on them, the Non RS Mk4 I had was fine as long as the arches were kept clean and sealed.

Admittedly when I lost the love for it and didn't keep on top of the required work it started to rot.

I did have a new battery tray, standard with the MK4 though.

Silly petrol cap, missing tailgate decals, no spots, no amber indicators, sort all these little things and it would be very nice.

Was just about to post exactly the same!

With a little bit of tinkering, that could be a lovely example as the basics are all there.

Just never got on with the S2 that much but still a nice head turner.
