Cleaning BMC CDA

What's the best thing to use to clean the filter? And where to get it?

Not cleaned it since I've had it! lol

i used a k&n cleaning kit.

can you get them at halfrauds?

nope - just use soapy water to clean. You will need to lube it up with some odirt retention sprya though.

Mine needs a clean but I can't get the b*****d apart, haven't even put it on the car yet.

you can get the piper cleaning kit or the better k&n cleaning kit. comes with cleaner and oil.

around £10-15 i guess.

The screws are rusty and a few are rounded off so i might just drill them out, you can't exactly talk smoke screen.

I was referring to the additive, probably wasn't your best idea to be fair!
