cleaning of my airfilter, do I need oil?

as above really, just about to clean my powertec kit and shall i bother with oil after I have cleaned it ?

Does it really matter if I dont use it?

just I dont have any and cant be assed to buy it!

Nah don't bother you'll be fine. Its only to stop bits of crap getting in the engine.

how do you think a performance filter with holes bigger than the original paper filter catches dirt?

Powertec Just stainless mesh dont need oil I think.

if it has no oil then its not a filter. It might stop small birds but thats about it. The mesh is there to suspend oil in the air way. Thats how the cotton filters work. If they really dont come with oil then throw it in the bin. Rather that than your engine.
