Umm aint really got a clue as its probly the 1st tym im goin to give it this gd of a clean, so much g8full if you can chuck a few i deas at me.

  A slow one :-(
You could spend anywhere from 30 quid to 3000 quid!

Yon need to make sure you have a descent wash mitt, good drying towel, some decent MFs and applicators and also 2 buckets!

You could try AG SRP + EGP then put a wax on top? Could try CYC collinite kit. The options are endless as Riz said!

If it were me I'd opt for AG SRP + EGP, then Collinite 476S on top. It will look pretty damn good and should give you pretty good durability for these winter months!

Considering the reno paint is s**t you can buy a decent polish, glaze, seal, wax, tyre gel for....100£ But like eddie says i reckon i've spent over....well alot!!!!

It just doesn't have a very good fun factor to use...can't see it when you are applying on light coloured cars, and the waiting...oh the waiting...

Think I prefer the Blitz the most, not sure if its as durable but just so easy and leaves a great finish, think it works with caranuba waxes better too. Although yet to try the Jeffs Caranuba.

Whats Blitz like? Loads of people seem to use it, Whats the durability like on it, I've been tempted but I don't really want to buy yet another LSP!

Having said that I'm tempted to give the Duragloss polish/sealant combo a go on my mams TT for the winter.

As said, RB isnt the easiest to get shiny, but i found chemical guys M seal, and XXX hardcore wax worked a treat!

On a matte colour I would just go for durability and synthetic sealant like EGP or Jeffs AGT - wouldn't bother with a wax either I don't think, if I did would go for Collinite or just another durability type wax. No point spending money on a top end wax as there is no paint depth to bring out.

Blitz is brilliant, bring out the metallic flake more than the Jeffs IMO and even easier to use. Not really done a fdurability test but last long enough for most peoples needs I should imagine. One of my of my favourite products to use on darker metallic coloured cars for sure.

Soild colours can be enhanced by the choice of wax as well, not tried it on racing blue but look into Megs #26 which looks superb on other soild colours. Megs #16 also looks good.

i think brand86 used to be iraq's foreign minister!! a good carnauba base with a good wax on top gives it the extra edge, for RB i would reccomend a good sealant like jeffs Carnauba , EGP, jetseal109 and a decent wax over the op like Chemical guys 50/50 or dodo purple haze

jetseal is probably the easiest to use out of the sealants and they all last approx the same, i personally prefer jeffs and the purple haze,

oh and get AG SRP and if u want to improve even further prima amigo!!

  Mito Sportiva 135
Haha, how did you know about that Riz?!

Just a heads up, Jetseal is "special order" from Car Wash n Wax now I noticed. Not sure if anywhere else stocks it? That sample you sent me Riz worked very well on the wheels - I wanted to buy some for a top end sealant. Ah well, £20 saved maybe.

Is the Prima good then? I always thought it was more a bodyshop type "pretty good for the price" type product? Just as its advertised in bodyshop trade magazines (which I read for work, not for fun I assure you!)

I found the Jet Seal left a very glossy and slick feel on the wheels over and above other sealants, but as you have used it more I'll take your word.

As for the Byker Grove thing, think it was lost on me lol, all I know is Donna Air used to be on it and she is the fittest yet stupidest creation in our universe, such a waste!!

Riz loves the Prima, I have used mine a couple of times down to being able to use a sealant over it, did not look much better than AG SRP and lacked the wetness of glazes such as Megs #7 and the Clearkote Glazes.

  Mito Sportiva 135
HA no I know they were on BG, just couldn't remember what that scene was about. Ant and Dec don't look any older!

Do you remember when they had to share BG with the kids from the other club which were there mortal enemies?! Oh and that old fat lady who used to let pretty much anyone stay with her, and when that guy came out....all cutting edge for CBBC, don't think they would deal with issues like that anymore!

  Mito Sportiva 135
Haha oh yeah thats their name! I remember watching it thinking the kids in it were really old too, but they were like maximum 16...it was classic though.

"PJ........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
