I'm struggling to capture how good it looks in 'real life'... but it's all good :)

Need some of their QD too.

That looks like glass! Awesome job mate...

How durable is the finish? Or have you literally just put it on?

WOW!! That looks awesome.

Did you de-badge the CLIO badge yourself or did you buy it like that?

  Megane R26
Hey Em,

I de-badged it myself over the weekend - dental floss and a (borrowed) hair dryer - doesn't take long at all.

Sorry I didn't reply to your text - we'll get yours done very soon :)

I used a combination of Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze and Clearkote Red Moose Glaze then topped with Clearkote Carnauba Moose .

No probs Russ. Thought about debadging mine, managed to debadge the MG myself so i'll have a go :) lol @ borrowed hair dryer ;)

Em - I heated each letter up at a time for a couple of minutes, removed them with dental floss, then removed the remaining gunk with white spirit and AG Tar Remover. I managed to do it without marking the paint at all, which is a bloody miracle given how easy it is to mark!!

Yeah baby!

The 3 glazes together are a perfect combo, fancy putting the 3 on mine before i buy them?

  Megane R26
No worries Liam - will cost you a KFC though! Lol...

It literally took about 30 mins to do the whole car - mix the two glazes up and apply by machine, fills swirls like NOTHING I have ever used before, then top with the wax. I think a couple of layers of the wax will bring out a bit more bling - I'll try and add another today.

I use CK often! Very good products and they work a treat on my dads barbados green 8 series. The finish is alot better than some of the meg's products i use.

Looking good :)

Mint!!!

I just didnt have the patience with Black, i'm far too fussy. It broke my heart evertime i washed it, only to see some marring again :(

  Megane R26
I swore never to have black again, but when I saw it I had to have it!

Red next for me I think, after working on SteBurns' car, you can get impressive results, like with black, but it's a lot more forgiving.

Thats why i went back to Blue. With having a 172 Cup, its easy to work with. So Albi it was :)

I went black to silver and miss my mirror black shiney-ness :(

Although i may try some Poorboys White Diamond show glaze and see how that goes

Russ thats awesome mate, told ya the clearkote was good stuff did I not ;). Get the quickshine bought too.

As for the car, paintwork looks TOTALLY different to when when I saw it! The de-badging looks to be a cool touch on the rear aswell.

Cheers folks - happy to do anyone's for a KFC ;)
I reckon you might have a fair few family size bucket's coming your way lol...

Winning finish on that!
Since you said it fills the swirls - need to sort that out lol not that I'm one to talk :p

Looks amazing. I've not had a black car since I had a Pug 306 GTi-6. I doubt I'll ever have one again. lol

You can give mine a once over this evening while myself and Ste watch Terminator. ;)
