Clicking Noise?

Car  RSTuner'd 182FF
Had my car for about a month now but when i got in my car to go work this morning i turned the engine on and there was a loud clicking noise coming from the centre console!? It sounds like its coming from the air vents or maybe the cd player. Every time i start my engine now it makes this noise.

Made a quick video of it to see if any of you guys no what it is. Any ideas?

I take it nobody has had this problem before then? lol. Ive booked it in at Reno on saturday so they should sort it.

Sounds like the fan, mine did it once but it was coming from the drivers side vent. Stopped doing it the next time I started the car.

its the cd player mines just bin doin it after a while it will swallow the cd and not play anything. ive just had mine repaired.

Air recirc valve thingy? is the button pressed in and its opening/closing when you turn the ignition on?

Definitely the CD player.
Mine does this every time I start the car if there's a CD in it.
It's bl**dy annoying, anyone know what the fix is?

i rang up some guy near me who fixes them her tried replacing some gears which somethmes works but in the end he replaced most of the cd mechaism cost me 40quid all in.

Just been out to my car and it is definatley coming from the cd player. It happens every time i put the ignition on. Surely the cd player is covered in my warranty? It better had be anyway cos ive on had my car a month!

if your car is under 3 years its covered take it a to a dealer and tell them to get it sorted

As Lee said.
If it is over 3 years old, the place you got it from should take care of it.
Have a read of the warranty.

£40 for a repair like that is good, I'll have a look in the Thompson Local.:)

Its an 04 plate and is just over 3 years old but i bought a full years extended warranty with it when i bought the car last month. Im glad i did now. Ill see what they say at Reno when i take it in on saturday
