Climate Control - Any Suggestions?!

Going Silverstone tomorrow and just noticed that my climate control isn't working...not good for a long journey as the interior keeps steaming up and I get very hot!!

Basically, was working last week and as far as I know I haven't changed or done anything. The lights and display are still working fine, but there is no AC or nothing coming out the fans, vents or footwell at all! My dad checked the fuses in the cabin and doesn't seem to be one for this (could be wrong here though)...

Do any of you guys know what the matter could be, or any possible solutions?

Many thanks in advance, just REALLY hope its nothing too bad as can't afford an expensive repair at the moment.

Don't think so dude, had this as part of the 36k service. Also, as I said not just not much coming through the fans, literally nothing, even with the AC off there is no ventilation at all! There is a quiet sort of clicking noise as if something is trying but failing to kick in...?

What turn the AC off you mean mate? In which case no, nothing coming out at all It's a bit weird as if a fuse has gone you would think the display would go too unless they are on different fuses. My dad thinks it could be the compressor but surely you would get ventilation through the vents e.g. just "normal" air?

Could be the speed control pack for the fan if the bars are moving and you can hear the flaps moving in the heater. Otherwise iirc theres fuse in the engine bay fusebox for the fan.

The speed control pack is a common one, mine went from working fine to fucked the next time I tried it because of that. They're about £100 and renault only unless you can get one from a breakers.

sounds like it the power to the fan mate via the rheostat , search thro some threads about a/c not working there is a few with the answer to where it is in the car and i think its a usual fault
