Climate Control Sensor fan?

heloo all

there was humming noise coming from the light and sun roff compartment after much research and emails, i found out it was the fan for the climate control sensor that is making all that humming.

anyway i took it all out, i took the surround offf and took everything apart, i basicaly got the fan is the small black little thing by its self .

i still cant figure out how it make the noise i took it all out and than just plugged the electric back so it was just the fan and the bit that hold it and i can really hear it.

so do i have to replace just the small black fan by its self or the entire the mechanism that holds the sensor and fan?

It seem slike its a featur e of the car, Mine does it, but i just live with it...

no probs, wanted to ask ya couple of things about car audio and so forth but no worries if cant.

could you let meknow the difference between this silent one and normal one i have here?

bloody renault quoted me £18.62 for the fan, bunch of idiots these guys here

No idea on the noiseless one, haven't seen it before. afaik they all use fans so this is new to me. Would have to dig my reciept out but i'm sure it wasn't £18 might be though I can't remember.

Can fire away on msn no probs, i'm on usually 5-6ish and 9-10ish in the evening.

Remove the fan use and grease up the shaft and small brass plain bearing.

Its relatively a simple job, once you've done it once you can make it a 6 monthly maintenance task. Takes around 5-10minutes.

Yeah mine makes a very silent put put noise. Inaudible when the engines running.

Don't last forever. I have also seen the nipple type Tom is on about.

Must be able to straight swap then?
