Clio mk2 1.2 8v
Hi all,
Can anyone help please.
The car decided snap its cambelt which I changed and also bent a few valves so i replaced them all. The timing was set up perfect and all put together without a hitch until I tried to start it. The engine turns Ok but refuses to fire. I get no spark or fuel from the fuel line when I turn the engine. I have check the earthing and even ran a new earth cable to the engine block. I have cleaned the TDC sensor also.
I do have one confession I accidentally pulled the two wires out of the TDC sensor when I took the engine apart and cant remember if the red or the white was at the top of the connector. I have tried both but still wont fire.
When we brought the car it did have an immobiliser intermittent fault but fitted a de-mobiliser which has been working fine for last month and must still be working as stop light goes out when turning the ignition.
Any ideas before I call the auto electrician ?????
