what is the difference betwen and phase 1 and phase 2

Ph1. - Front grill is 2 slots. Smaller Mirros, Rear Lights a very striaght and flat. Bump strips are very... dated? just single strips. , the 16v badge is next to the indicators, and the needles on the dials inside the car are orange. The Ariel is aslong very long.

Ph2 - Smarter version, the bump stirpes are more rounded and beefy, with the 16v on the actual bump strip. the mirrors are slightly larger, the grill is just one strip. And the ph2 rear lights a bubbly. The needles on the dials are also WHITE. and the dials are alittle more rounded and nicer. The Ariel on the ph2 is much shorter.

phase 2 got a different boot strip too, more sound deadening,different interior, more safety features, different alloys, rear wash/wipe was in the wiper not on the boot.

Phase1 is split too, into an early and late.

Early Phase1s (J regs..) didnt have electric sunroof, had different interior, different steering wheel

My Ph2 came with a massive long whip on the roof too................ yours must be aftermarket Bubbles
