My name is Jure, I`m from Slovenia and 5 days ago it was my 5th annyversary with my Clio 1.8 16V :smile:
From the beggining I used it daily (even one winter in snow :disrelieved:), and as years passed by, modification list got longer, little Clio was mainly used for a stress release, and to gain some driving techniques.

This is when previous owner delivered it to my 😌 (my ex 1.4 16V in the back)

First thing was, sold those heavy Speedline 2012 16", did a main service on the engine, changed crappy Eibach springs to stock and just enjoyed it over winter for daily commute and weekend trips.

Did a full exhaust, swaped springs for 182Cup (with 1 coil cut out), lowered it in the back and installed Gr.N 23.2mm torsion bars, short and stiff shifted it, raised the gear lever and had a great fun :tonguewink:

Over the winter I installed Gr.A intake, Superleggeras, 182Cup front wishbones, oil coller, oil catch can, front race pads, added 4th engine mount, harder dogbone bush, moved battery in the trunk and tidied it up a bit :smile:

Than came winter again, with its upgrades of course :tongueclosed:
Bought AVO rear coilovers, but weren`t what we said it would be, send them back and purchased Viarouge Sport shocks, Twingo Cup front springs, spot welded and painted subframe, welded stiffening plates on wishbones, 172 rear hubs for aligment and some regular maintainence...

Car has quite sweet handling, I think the biggest (and one of the cheapest) difference was rear 172 hubs, so I can dial my own aligment settings :grinning: I only have problems with chasing 172/182 on the straights and 197/200 in the wet + straights, in the corners no problem at all.

Currently the car is waiting to get it`s front end striped, make new top hats, fit adjustable top mounts (maybe even go with coilovers), weld in Gr.N/A front end stiffening plates, convert front beam to bolt on (probably from alu) and things like that. List of changes for 2017:

Most of pics were taken by friends of mine, not much of my own, don`t have time, and sold the DSLR last year (to buy buckets :grin:).

Nice to see another mk1 in use! Plans sound good! About to do the 172 rear stub axle conversion on mine over the winter. Where did you get the uprated rear torsion bars from aswell?
