does anybody have detailed acceleration figures for the 172 or even better a graph or chart. detailing speed time distance???

have a look on letstorquebhp.com or almost any car mag (evo's a good one) or do a search. or look at parkers guide. or find a few young looking chaps down the pub and join in with there conversation. or take it from me

0-60 = 6.5-7.2 seconds
0-100= 16.5-18 seconds

depending on the spec these are the rough times. enough to embarass most cars on the road basically
