Clio 182 alarm issue help???

Hi, Just got my 182 and can't figure out the freaking alarm as manual missing.. Sometimes when I lock it it beeps four times. Sometimes it doesn t beep.. what is this all about?

If you turn the ignition on and off a couple of times before you lock it, it disables some of the sensors so you can set the alarm and leave the windows down at the same time.

When it beeps four times, it generally means the car hasn't armed the alarm properly at which point you then unlock it and re-lock it. If you do the above then it deactivates the internal sensors. The alarms are more trouble than they i worth IMO.

thanks for that advice guys i get really fuked off at the internal alarms and i believe the four beeps are when the alarm has gone off... cause whenever my alarm goes off i can hear it down the road so i have a wander and unlock it and the four beeps happen!

there was a few threads about this it is actuall a fault that they can sort for you under warranty, when you set your alarm and it sometimes beeps the alarm is still getting an ignition signal, basically they say if you get turn key off jump out and set alarm quickly. sometimes mine does it, i just leave it, the cars still locked etc have a search and the full technical details will be there from a guy from renault.
