Hi all, first car was a black Clio 1.2 and always wanted a sport… just picked up this 182 non cup in black gold as a cheap weekend toy. Previous reg was YF05YHO and spent most its life in the Orkney islands. Not sure if the previous owner is here? Currently sat on 83k
Had most bits sorted, cambelt and dephaser has been done as well as quite a bit of suspension bits replaced. Got a stainless steel exhaust on it which is way too aggressive for my taste.
Power steering pump is whining but not working and pretty sure there is a wheel bearing gone somewhere so that needs sorting.
I have a feeling the clutch could be on its way out too, very heavy and doesn’t seem to like hill starts.
already swapped out the stock 182 wheels for a set of 15 Turinis wrapped in Michelin PS3’s which makes a huge difference.
Needs a detail when the weather gets better, ktec splitter and a retimed steering wheel are up next once it’s been checked over for any issues.
