clio 182 stripes.?

hello all.. a clio im maybe going to view has the stripes that go up over the bonnet roof and boot but is not to my liking.. do they usually come off easily enough and does it damage the paint..?
i dont think id be happy leaving them on and if it causes problems removing ill look elsewhere..

They should come off with a hairdryer to heat up the vinyl, this should not damage the paint.

The only issue you might have, is if the stripes have been on for a while, the paint may have faded, leaving fresher paint under stripes, which then won't match and you'll see where the stripes used to be. Unless it was really bad, it's nothing that couldn't be taken out with a DA though.

Nope.

White ones were an option on Racing Blue only.

I had a black 172 which already had stripes when I bought it.

2-tone, silver and grey.

This place doesn't like stripes in general. They seem to be considered chav, which is a little rich since in the very next breath the entire forum will erupt about how having a drainpipe exhaust with no silencers is just so much of an epic mod y0!

Careful, i only found out the paint below the strip was a different shade after the stripes were removed. The paintwork everywhere but under the stripes had faded

Thanks for the advice it is a black 182 I've only seen it in pics and the stripes are like Matt black can just make them out.
Not a problem tho as I've flu d another that I'm going for now
