Clio 200 - Brakes/tyres

  Meg 250/E36 Touring
Evening all

Have any 200 owners had to replace brake pads (or discs:S) or tyres yet?

Be interesting to know now they've been around a year or so.... (plus might help me with an arguement I'm having!)

I have done 13k and the car is 13 months old and im just coming up to needing new tyres (around 1-2k left in them at a guess). Most of my driving is country lanes, no track days or wheel spinning down McDs. Brakes are still good with only a little wear on the disk and the pads still look new.

Hope that helps, whats the story?

How do the prices fair in comparison? Im guessing we wont be able to pickup a pair of rear OEM disks for under £100 like i can with the 172?

Lynden (lbrench) went through a few sets of tyres/pads and even a pair of discs iirc.

I'd be tempted not to mess with the normal set up if it's just for road use ie contis and oem pads, I think it's more than good enough
