Clio 200 Deal - Still on?

I know there's been multiple threads about this deal, so apologies.

I'm not asking the usual 'What does this cost me?' or 'Do you think I should...?'

All I want to know is does anyone know anywhere that is still honouring the deal that many have taken advantage of? I have the new car itch at the moment :(

Cheers.

If you're talking about the £200 a month one, it changed at new year, costs far more now.

no the 200 quid a month pcp deal isn't in anymore. Think some1 said the new deals come out this month. Just get a bank loan buy a used 1 save a lot of money then sell the car after a year or 2.

You don't know how tempting warranty sounds to me at the moment. lol.

I'm more tempted than Garry Glitter at a scout meeting. But I'm resisting.

£279 (I don't want pikey spec) x 36 = £10,044. I wouldn't ever buy it, so that bit doesn't matter. But I'd want good wheels/seats/colour. Selling my Ph1 wouldn't even cover the spec I want, then there's the deposit.

Far better for me to save towards a deposit (or more iGoodies)

I'm set for Fruit now, but I do need a more 'mature' car. Or at least one that's not an inch from the deck and extremely loud.

~2004 DC5 or new 200. DC5 makes better sense financially, since I have no current finance/cards for anything bar my mortgage.

Mind you, I've been saying this for the last two years. Nothing will ever happen until I have to. LOL.

There's a nice one on PH at the moment.

Only £220 more a year to insure than my Clio, too. Odd one.

You're never done with Fruit. There's always more to come.

I don't think a 200 is much more mature than a 182 to an outider really. A DC5 even less so. Put a quieter exhaust on and just keep the 182.

True, but you'll get me singing Windows 7's praises before you'll get me in some German diesel statusmobile.

I guess the time to get the 200 was last year then. Big difference between £199 a month for two years and £259 for three.

Although to be fair this offer is better than has been available recently.

I thought exactly the same last week, until I worked out the depreciation on one of these would pay for my 350z with change.

You could have a nice reliable ek9 for a lot less!

Only a worry if you are handing it back... if keeping it and paying the Balloon, any miles available.

  Passat
Hang on. If you paid for it after 3 years at £6k then surely you could sell it for a reasonable profit couldn't you? You'd be mad to hand it back.

My final payment is £5.5k and i think i should get around £8.5k when its 3 years old so should see 3k cash back my way.

Thats if all goes to plan. That will then go down as a deposit for my next car and some of the payments.

Or find a dodgy mate with a laptop and some funky software, who can make them extra miles disappear from your clock ;)

Naughty. The deals do sound pretty good now you come to think about it with the way fletch just put it. But you would still have to buy the car out right before you could sell it as there would be finance on it? Or am i mistaking?

Sam!

Sam!

Sell it and get the buyer to pay RCI direct. It's how I done it when I sold my 200.

Oh and naughty, yes. Illegal, no. ;)
