Clio aerial cable

ive had my alpine head unit in for a while but never been able to use the tuner cus the signal is so damn sh*te. I think its the actual cable itself cus once its in, i have to move it around untill i get a good signal but as soon as i push the head unit back in it goes all fuzzy again, is there anything i can do to fix it?

Tape the connector together with leccy tape if you think its falling out. Should be a tight fit already though

the aerial cable fits into the head units socket fine, nice n tight, but i have to bend n move the actual cable around for it to go clear

Was it ok with the old unit? It may be a problem with the alpine, is it possible to try it in another car?

it was fine with the standard clio head unit.

Is there anyway i can access the back of the head unit once it is inside the dash? cus maybe i can move the wire around. maybe a small hole/gap leading to the back of it?

Dunno about the ph2s but on my 2000 clio you can get most of your hand in the gaps in the dash!

If you take the top of the dash off you may be able to get to the back of the headunit, you could with my Kenwood unit.
