Clio Air Bag light

Hi all
Having problems with my Air Bag light. Just had the wires under the drivers side resoldered but it didnt work. The renault garage didnt seem to know what to do and said it could be the ecu - and then quoted £300!! Will this be the problem, is there anything I can do myself to fix it?

did you get the fault codes read to find out the item at fault or was they just guessing it was the seat connections?

on mine it was the squib behind the steering wheel that was at fault causing the airbag light to come on.

I betthey still charged you! Get it looked at by someone that knows what they're doing... Not a franchised dealer ffs
