Clio Alpine CD Changer Compatibility

Just got my clio 172 today, love the car, the braking especially is wicked!

I am going to install my kenwood mp3 head unit into the car, but i will loose the use of the alpine cd changer, anyone know if it is possible to make them work together?

Or do i have to buy a kenwood changer?!

You cant use the changer with any others... you have to buy a new one.

Well, if you had a Sony HU you could do it.

I was going to take out the factory changer, but if i can use it with the sony headunit this would save me money.

its the changer that has to be sony to work with the standard HU as far as i know.

The original changer will work with some sony head units.

Why not buy a Kenwood 6 disc changer and sell the alpine one?

will do, gonna dump the alpine changer and get a kenwood one, or maybe even a kenwood keg (20gb mp3 storage!)
