clio and the cold weather...

i remember from last year's cold spell. I had an annoying problem of the petrol key entry freezing up when temp's hit -4 and below.. and there for me not being able to fill her up.. happened again today stupid thing.. this happen to anyone else? or what other things have you had go wrong in low temps?

I've had this happen before. A good squirt of GT-85 seemed to sort it.

this happened to the wife today first time ever luckily there was a helpful fella with some anti-freeze job done.

happened to me last year, had to get the deicer on it. my new cup doesnt have a key lock though :rasp:

Mine whines like a b**ch for about 15 seconds on start-up and the cold killed off the battery but other than that it's been fine so far. Of course it's not gotten REALLY cold yet so we'll see...

ah so its not just me.. phew! just sprayed it with some gt85 will soon know if thats helped

Freezing weather affects other cars as well, not just Clios.
