Clio, car ferry, wood (possibly)

right i am off to dieppe next weekend and with the clio sporting its new wheels and stance i am pretty sure i am pretty sure i am going to have issues boarding and unboarding the ferry.

anybody else had issues before?

None of us had problems last time!

Driving through France in a ClioSport is always a treat, they don't seem to do 'sport' in France. Everyone will look at you like you're driving a Ferrari!!

the thing is with ferrari's / supercars is they tend to have quite a long wheelbase in comparison

Last year i was out in france with a few mates, a mate was in his noble which had no issues getting on and of the ferry.

You have got a Ph1 172. Just get 4 mates to help you pick it up and carry it on!

I took mine over for NYW mate and it was fine.

The first trip over, I told one of the wardens that check your ticket whilst you are waiting in the lanes and they told me to put my hazards on and i was allowed to board downstairs with the VIPs

2nd trip back, that area was full so i went to the normal parking up the steep ramp and it scraped VERY slightly.

Ive not had any problems, make sure you handbrake is ok as last time I went across I got the spot on the ramp which was at a massive angle.

we had no problems in september, comin off the ferry and being on it is the worry

make sure you get to the car asap after arriving at the destination or stay with the car till as late as possible on departure, as they are so close together and the idiotic people that decide to walk past with a zip licking your paint work five times over is something i wouldnt want to experience again...

i taped a microfibre each side and made people walk around the long way tbh
