Clio Clock

Hi there, I recently bought a 1998 Clio 1.2, with the clock(time) on the speedometer, and i have no idea how to set it. Didn't get a manual with the car.

hmmm, is it near the spedo or in the middle of the dash were the radio comes up, if its on the spedo try and hold in the button until the time starts flashing and then press it to change the time, just have a play about with you cant do any harm. if its in the middle there are 2 buttons which do the mins and hours just press those to advance.

It's on the same screen that the mileage is on, on the actual speedo. Just downloaded a manual for a newer clio and it says to hold button and it will flash, but doing this just resets the trip counter. Might just unplug and reconnect battery at midnight. Lol.

Although any more help is welcome!

Did you have your key in you car with the ignition on engine not running?

I've tryed with engine on and off. Both just reset trip mileage.

With the engine off but the key turned? Just cause thats something i would probably do apart from that i dont know?

Yeah, i've tryed all combinations! Doing my head in. As i said, i might just disconnect battery at midnight.
