Clio Cup bonnet release

My bonnet release lever is doesnt seem to be working. Anybody got any ideas what the problem may be, if its easily fixable and/or how to get the bonnet open without using the release lever?

Any advice most welcome.

either the cables snapped or come out of its holder.youll have to jack the car up and manually release the bonnet catch from underneath.use a screwdriver to release the catch.
