Clio Damaged ugh ...

Got up this morning to find some little pr**ks have done some stuff to my car in the night:

• Slashed 2 Tyres
• Snapped drivers wingmirror off
• Nicked ariel
• Bent the shaft that the rear wiper goes on, obviously tried to pull it off

pretty pi**ed off now... forked out for 2 new tyres this morning after having to walk to the garage with the alloys to get them put on...

now im just wondering how much a new wingmirror and the mount it goes into costs...? this has the color of the car on the front of it so its not just plastic... also its completely snapped plastic no chance of it clicking back in... its held on with ducktape at the mo...

also... am i going to have to fork out for a new motor for the rear wiper aswell? if it tries to wipe it just clicks and it cant move the arm as the metal shaft is bent....

ariel im not bothered about theres plently of type r's round this way.

worst thing is... when i went out this morning my neighbour came out and said they saw some kids messing around the car at about 1am... but they never came and told me or rang us or even went out to try and stop them... oh well il know what to do if the same happens to their car now i suppose.

Sorry to hear that mate. Thats the problem with people these days- they will never confront people if they catch them trying to nick/damage stuff,cuz their too worried about their own hides.

my car is 'tempest' color, and the wingmirrors are color coded... ive only ever seen one mk2 in 6 months in the same color.... if i got a diff color how much am i looking to get it sprayed?

the plastic section of the wing mirror in body colour snap fits off so as long as its not damaged and u still have the parts you can forget the colour and swap the covers over if u get one from a scrappy.

seeing as the original type r ariel i had on there wasnt even nicked anyway... it was purchased from ebay... i doubt it was a type r owner.

s**t when it happens, just had mine keyed, I'm sure I know who did it, but it was someone else who pissed the guy off, so totally unprovoked.

although there is one w**ker with a 'maxxed out' corsa B behind my estate that always drives round up my ass and just follows me to where im going for fun as it seems... so close infact i cant see his headlights... what a life he must have.

think im going to have to get some ramps or figure a way of getting my car onto my drive at night now... which is a pain in the a**. its parked like 100yrd in front of the house in a cul-de-sac... thats where this happened.

it was actually adam off here that got it for me, try ebay for clios that are being broken too

these boys did that where we live, they slashed all four tyres on 22 cars, the police got them cos they were on cctv, but they didnt go to court or anything cos they were too young.

so all we got from the police for compensation was £10 per tyre. what a massive piss take
