Hi all just thought I would say hello this is my new project which I hope to have done by next year to go to some shows, might be asking for help and missing parts advice if that’s ok?

Another mk1 surfaces. Parts are getting hard to come by but need anything let me know, I'm well entrenched in mk1 ownership

Welcome. Get some more pics up and a plan of action for us. Everyone loves a good Mk1, especially a Dimma.

Although I think that exhaust is a little OTT

Going to PPW Worcester for kit removal when the shell is stripped all panels that have gone will be welded or replaced or re fabricated, engine already out ready for strip down and refresh then when paint is done everything that goes back on will be either new where possible or original bits shot blasted and painted to appear new, I’m sure there’s loads of bits in between but I’ll keep the pictures coming with progress!

I much prefer it how it is now without the big spoiler, I know that's how they were and you have it, bit kind of ruins it now.

Get the rear brake light removed and filled as that boots from a phase 3 car. The exhaust is a bit max power lol! But I'm sure you'll change it.

Engine is out! Does the F7R mean a Williams block or engine?

Cool! Also, the dipstick should have a spot of paint on the top of it. There was, blue, white, black. iirc white was Williams (F7R) blue and black were valve (F7P)

Ok we are getting there with the Dimma! Going for paint next week! Stripped the engine and looks like the cylinder head is scrap! Don’t suppose anyone on here has one for sale?

Any pics of the progress ?

Put a a 172 engine in it, I've seen that done before. It's probably a ton of work though.

Being painted next week so I’ll get some pictures up then, engine is all out and prepped for paint to take the Williams engine so need to work with that!

  CLIO DIMMA
That's what i thought, it's not a original williams(although engine and all other running gear in it is!) so didn't want to go that color but as a original Dimma i quite like the idea of a different blue so keeping the same look. hopefully it turns out ok!
