clio drone

  Clio rt 1998 1.4
my clio drones when you get to around 40 mph which ive believed to be a wheel bearing but today ive finally realized when I turn left slightly the drone goes away until i straighten the steering or go to the right. Any ideas as to why it does this thanks?!

Does the drone continue over 40 mph or just at 40mph?

If it is there above 40, then I would say it's the n/s/f wheel bearing - it goes quiet when you turn left as all the weight of the car moves to the right, which will quieten the bearing down. Alternatively you may notice it may get a little louder when you turn right as the weight shifts onto the worn bearing.
