Clio Expression + Spec??

  Clio 1.2 Expression
I currently own what I thought was a 1.2 16v clio expression + 5DR. However I have just been looking over the whatcar website and it seems to suggest that the only difference between the expression and the expression + is that the + version has A/C, wich mine doesnt.
Is that correct or is the what car website talking rubbish? I only want to know because I have just checked insurance quotes for the Normal expression versus the + version and it came out £50 cheaper!!

I have a normal expression, and it doesn't have fogs, air con, the silver interior inserts (well it does now!), but it makes up for all this with those revolting seats that look like someones GCSE textile coursework (grade E).

Sounds like mine, it has the predominantly blue & black interior, no fogs, no AC.

Though it does have alloys, does yours?

Not sure whether my Expression is a '+' or not but it has A/C and foglights.

It also has 15" Renault alloys but as I'm the third owner I don't know whether these were an optional extra or were put on later.

Just checked on RAC site and HPICheck site and mine is listed as a standard Expression.

Mine has the zig zig pattern on the seats and steel wheels, i put the alloys on mine. Mines a 2001 on a 51 by the way, one of the first, I think the later expressions had a higher spec.

Mine was registered September 2001 on a 51 plate so I guess mine was also one of the first.
I think my seats are Very dark blue with a lighter blue or turquiosey blue running through the middle, Now I could be making a liar out of myself but I cant be bothered going out to the car to check the seats because its pooring down :D. I have 15" Alloys Plus spare, Though I do believe they where added options when it was bought (Im second keeper). It also had a casette player as standard but this was replaced with a cd as an option.

I've found an old Clio brochure which should clear things up

The Authentique was the only model that didn't have alloys as an optional extra.

The Expression had 15" 'Equation' alloys as an optional extra.

The Privilege came with the 15" 'Equation' alloys as standard.

The Initiale came with the 15" 'Jade' alloys as standard.

The Dynamique came with the 15" 'Alium' alloys as standard.
